We the people agree...if your kiddos pants are falling down, you need to get a Loop 2 Loop. Slide it through the belt loops of any pants and snap it to the 2 front loops for a snug fit without the use of a buckle. Great for tots in basic training. Note: Free Shipping thru 7/20/09.

A busy day

I know we will always have the issue of pants not fitting due to the boys being so tall & skinny. But these belts are awesome! Grant has no trouble going potty since the belts aren't in the way. I've never found belts to actually fit the boys, but now I have some!! Thanks Anna!

Check out MomDot.com

MomDot:Where the Blogging Moms Go

I want to say "Thank you!" to Victoria at MomDot.com for listing Loop-2-Loop(TM) belts as No. 7 on her list of "15 pretty cool and nifty products that you really should check out. And if you like them…buy them! I assure you they are all really cool."
"7.) Loop-2-Loop: Ellie (my daughter in case you missed it) is potty trained and in panties…which means she has plumber’s crack like nobody’s business, so she needed a belt that would hold her pants up, but let her take them off by herself. The Loop-2-Loop is probably the neatest belt I have ever seen. Go check it out!"

No More Plumber’s Crack with Loop-2-Loop! (closed)

Now that Ellie is out of diapers (yeahy!) I have noticed an issue with her pants that really annoys me. She has plumber’s crack. Now, when she was wearing a diaper you saw the back of her diaper when she bent over and moved around, and while that did bother me, I am bothered much more when her panties and butt show.Ok…so get her a belt you say.Well, it isn’t that simple. With her potty training and still in that “when I say I need to pee-pee it means RIGHT NOW” phase, using a regular belt just isn’t the greatest idea ever. Ah, so you caught my use of the word “regular” huh? Yes, I did find an irregular belt that works great and that I really really like! Meet the Loop-2-Loop: a non-buckling belt that keeps kids’ pants up.

So…if it is buckle-free how exactly does it work? Great question! It is designed to snap to the belt loops on either side of the button and fly of the child’s pants. Once it is snapped in place on both sides you adjust it from the back and you are all set to go. How easy was that? Ok…I will tell you: it was really easy. Even my husband, who has been on my back to get Ellie a belt because of her plumber’s crack issue, was suitably impressed with the design and function. There is another thing going for the Loop-2-Loop in my book, once Ellie is old enough to do the whole potty thing herself, I won’t have to help her at all by unbuckling a belt or by re-buckling it, she will be able to pull her pants down and up without any help. Yeahy!

So there is another thing that I am impressed with…the belt came with a book titled: “Benedict Bear’s First Spring-With a Little Help From Loop-2-Loops”. It is a cute little book about a bear who wakes up from hibernation only to find that his pants don’t fit and he can’t run and play without falling flat on his fact. Of course, the hero to the story is the Loop-2-Loop belt which let’s Benedict run and play with all his friends. Ok, so a useful product with a cute book? What else do you need? If you buy 2 belts at very reasonible prices you get the book for free, if you want the book with a sale of one belt you pay slightly more.

I recommend getting a Loop-2-Loop for your kiddo, actually I recommend getting a couple that way you can just leave them on their pants. Plus you can grab a couple of colors and match every outfit!

Loop2Loop Belts - Review & Giveaway (closed)

I've been so fortunate these past few months, to review so many cool products for the family and to meet some wonderful people behind the products. Sometimes, I find a product that is so useful, functional, or just plain cool, that I can't stop blabbing to my friends and family about it. Loop2Loop belts is one of those products. This product has saved me money (which, hello, I love) because I have been able to pull out pants from Elijah's "done" crate that now have new life!

If you have a young child I know you've been there. Like me, you've probably learned the hard way that it doesn't pay to buy any pants without an elastic waist or an adjustable waist. A few months ago I found a great pair of pants at Old Navy for Elijah for $10 and silly me thought that the elastic waist on the back portion of the pants would be enough to keep them on my skinny boy's waist. Once he put them on for school one day, we both realized that they would simply not work as they wouldn't even stay up they were so loose! With a sigh I put them back in his closet, knowing full well that I wouldn't pull them out again for him to wear. Belts are pointless for toddlers and pre-schoolers. They are just too hard to fumble with when a child has to go to the bathroom.

The Loop2Loop belt is perfect! The belt doesn't actually go over the button area of a child's pants so they never have to fumble with it. Actually, once they are on the child's pants, they don't notice it at all. Think of it as an adjustable waist on the outside of the pants. As long as the pants have belt loops, you can use the Loop2Loop belt! No more purchasing pants based solely on the adjustable-waist feature. Let everyone else leave the regular-waist pants on the sale rack because I can buy them!

The way I used the belt on Elijah's pants is as follows. First, I adjusted the belt to a size that seemed about right when wrapping around his waist like in the picture. Then I threaded it through the belt-loops and snapped both sides at the front around the front belt loops. If it was a little loose, I could adjust the belt at the back. Once it was the perfect fit, no further adjusting was needed and I could interchange it among other pairs of pants. Perfect!

I was happy to read that Loop2Loop belts can survive the wash. I am glad that I have two Loop2Loop belts because when Elijah tosses his pants into his clothes hamper, the belt goes with them too and I frequently am digging to find our prized Loop2Loop belt!

With 7 colors to choose from and at a fantastic price of $12.50US each, Loop2Loop belts are an excellent purchase, according to this frugal mama! This is one of those products that I am confident you will love like I do.

Loop2Loop belts are based in the US and ship to US and Canadian addresses.

Win a Loop-2-Loop Belt!

Tired of your kids' pants falling down? I know I was...

Over the holiday we were in Miami, and I took the opportunity to try out Loop-2-Loop™ belts on my little boy Mo, as he would be wearing lots of shorts, with belt loops. The pair pictured is a pair that when previously worn would fall down to his hips exposing his underwear elastic, and although I’m fond of his GAP undies, I didn’t think the world needed to know that. The Loop-2-Loop™ belt worked stunningly! The product was easy to use and it is adjustable ensuring that my little guy will get not just a season or two of wear from this belt, but be able to wear it much longer. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see him wearing his Loop-2-Loop™ belt on his first day of Kindergarten, and still be wearing it when he begins first grade in 2010! Mo really liked his belt. His comment when I first put it on was “Wow, what a AWESOME belt!” He liked that it didn’t look like his other belts, and I liked that he could still unbuckle his shorts when he had to use the restroom.

Loop-2-Loop™ belts come in various colors and are available in two sizes. Mo who is four years old and wears a size 5T wore size B which fits waists 16" 21".

Giveaway: Loop-2-Loop belts

Every time I find a pair of pants that fit LA in length the waist is too big. And every belt has such a big buckle that looks so tacky with his little waist. And then I found Loop-2-Loop belts. I fell in love with the concept and couldn't wait to try one.

Loop-2-loop belts are adjustable and buckle free. YEAH! I thought "Too good to be true." My friends, they really work! LA has worn his everyday with every kind of pants....jeans, dress pants, cords and cargo pants. It works so well. Here are some illustrations to further describe how it works. It is extremely duarble and so easy to use. No annoying tiny holes to pull as tight as you can to make his pants fit. The belt also has elastic fabric in the back so it is easy to pull the pants on and off. The also have so many color options for every outfit. I love our new Loop-2-loop belt and so does LA!

Loop 2 Loop
Saturday, November 22, 2008
My middle son and nephew have small waists so we usually get the pants with the adjustable waist but sometimes even those don't get small enough yet if we go down a size then the pants are too short. And potty training on top of that makes it difficult to find a belt that will work. Well Loop 2 Loop on Etsy has taken care of that.

Loop 2 Loop belts are kid friendly buckle free belts so your potty training toddler doesn't have to waste precious minutes unfastening the belt. They are 1 inch wide, come in 2 sizes and if you order before December 20 you get 1 cent shipping! They come in creatively titled colors Pacific Blue, Carnation Pink, Gumball Purple, Safari Tan, Not-so-old Navy, Fire Engine Red, and Army Olive with a Black or White elastic back. If you don't see a color combo you like then just ask!

These belts are awesome. You snap it once and don't worry about it the rest of the day. Plus you can get them very snug unlike a lot of the adjustable waistband pants. The only thing I would like to see is maybe some designed ones instead of solid colors. That would be cool.

Modern Mama Pick of the Week Loop2Loop belt

Here's my most recent purchase from Etsy, and I have to say, this woman is a genius! Anna runs loop2loop.etsy.com, and she has the most wonderful product. It's a belt that doesn't get in the way or rub your child's belly, and it really works. I put it on a pair of Colin's 18 month pants this morning. Normally, he's such a skinny boy that they just fall off, leaving him looking like he's in a rap group, and I just wait for him to say "Yo, yo, yo, Boyzzzz". But he needs the length of this size pants. Enter loop2loop. I love it--my only word of advice is that it took me a minute to get it on the pants, so I'm planning to put it on in the evenings so his britches are good to go in the crazy a.m. Of course, Anna even made these machine washable, so if you can afford to pick up a few of these little babies, you can just leave them on the pants and run them through the laundry.

Hats off to Loop2Loop! Thanks, Anna!

Loop2Loop Buckle Free Belts

>> Monday, November 3, 2008
When I began to potty train Taite almost a month ago, I quickly realized the need for a belt.Taite has one of the smallest waist I have ever seen on a baby his age. Most kids his age have the chubby bellies? Not Taite... He is what I like to call very trim and lean.Because of this most pants are to big on him.Take a chunky cloth diaper off him and put small undies... pants DO NOT stay up.I then discovered these loop2loop belts one day while breezing through Etsy... and fell in love with the concept.Loop2Loop's are different than your traditional childs belt. It doesnt have those annoying tiny holes that you have to fasten with the needle buckle thing (not sure what to call it). It also doesn't require taking off to take a child potty.Taite has to use the potty frequently and to take a belt off and on constantly is hard work! With the Loop2Loops you can just slide the pants down. The back of the belt has elastic so it is easily stretched to pull off the childs hip.Buy It: Loop2Loop comes in all sorts of fun colors. I find its nice having atleast TWO options. This way you have a back up in case one is lost.. as well as more color options for different outfits.
